PNG overlays with shadows

Sometimes over doing shadowing can have adverse effects on the final look of your images. I like to keep this to a minimum in cases where vocal points shouldn't compete with messages from text but should have an eye catching effect nonetheless.
Adding alpha filtering and saving in PNG format makes this all possible.

Coloring for the gradient background under the text was done by grabbing color pixels from the images. This as well minimizes a visual distraction by blending in color and allowing the text to be read efficiently.

Overlaying the images with a slightly larger area than the text field below and bumping them over to expose the field below on the left ever so subtly adds to the desired effect.
